 Daniel Stephen Jones III was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 27, 1997. He played college football at Duke University, and was drafted by the New York Giants in the 1st round, 6th overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft. His first NFL start as quarterback for the New York Giants was week 3 of the 2019 NFL season, on September 22, 2019, where he led the New York Giants to a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 32-31.
